AMY SCHWEND - President

Amy is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where she received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting in 1999 and her Master’s of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems in 2001. Her career, up to this point, has included leadership positions in law enforcement and sales. She spent nearly five years serving as the Corporal for the Wilson County Sheriff's Department and the Chief of Police for Watertown, Tennessee. Her sales experience was gained through work with a transportation company and as an account manager for a home health company. The combination of Amy's strong leadership ability and sharp business mind have made her successful in the lighting industry. At Poplar Hill Companies, LLC, Amy oversees operations, manages purchasing, accounts payable and receivable.

CALEB SCHWEND - Vice President

car croppedCaleb is the Project Management and Business Development leader for Poplar Hill Companies, LLC. His electrical career began in 1997 as a commercial and industrial electrician. He has since held a multitude of leadership positions in the electrical contracting sphere. For the last six years, Caleb's focus has been on lighting and energy conservation projects. He has led and completed numerous projects in the United States and Canada. Caleb’s specialties include project management, design and implementation. He is LEED® AP and CALT certified and a member of the Energy Services Coalition as well as the Association of Energy Engineers.

LEE ADCOCK - Secretary/Treasurer, Poplar Hill Companies, LLC
President, Lee Adcock Construction Company, Inc.

Lee has worked in the construction industry his entire career. From 1984 to 1989, he was an electrician at Arnold Air Force Base (AEDC) for Sverdrup Tech and Calspan. One of his duties for Calspan was to reserve blocks of power from TVA for testing. Lee founded Lee Adcock Construction Company, Inc in 1989. He has completed numerous design/build projects for his client base and is a recognized leader in the industry. Annually, the company handles approximately $20M worth of construction projects and has a 50-person team. In 2011, Lee was elected to the Board of Directors for First Community Bank of Bedford County in Tennessee. His knowledge and experience are a valuable asset to the Poplar Hill Companies team.
